SILVER JEWELLERY: Most of our silver jewellery needs little attention save for the occasional polish with a silver cloth. It tarnishes when left out, so store it covered, in a bag or box where possible.

GOLD JEWELLERY: All our gold earrings are made of silver and covered in one micron of 18k gold, which means that they are hypoallergenic and will look good for a long time. As rings tend to get a lot more wear and tear, all our rings are covered in 2.5 microns of 18k gold vermeil, giving them a long life of wear. Most of our neck and arm wear is covered in one micron of 18k gold. Please see each individual piece for information. All gold plate will eventually wear off so it is not recommended to wear it continuously, or to wear it in the shower or while doing the washing up! It can also be affected by perfume. Like silver, store it covered, in a bag or box.

GEMSTONES: Most semi precious stones are quite robust, though they do not like to be dropped or knocked. Porous stones like pearls, turquoise and lapis can be damaged by perfume and household cleaning products. Nature has taken hundreds of thousands of years to create each gemstone, so it is wise to treat them with love and care.
